The name Ethos comes from the Greek word meaning “character” or “guiding ideals.” For us, it represents the foundation of this breeding program and the values we want it to reflect: integrity, purpose, and respect for the heritage of the German Shorthaired Pointer.

At Ethos German Shorthaired Pointers, we are dedicated to producing dogs that are true to the breed standard. Each litter is carefully planned and intentionally bred, focusing on preserving the GSP’s natural versatility, instinct, and even temperament. Our goal is to honor the breed’s original purpose by producing dogs that are capable in the field, steady at home, and a joy to live and work with.
